Interiors Studio Manager 📍 Fairhope, Alabama (on-site) 💼 Full-time | Salary: $70,000–$90,000 Meridia is proud to partner with a leading, design-driven architecture and interiors firm in their search for an experienced and licensed Interior Architect to lead their own team. This is an opportunity to work on diverse, high-quality projects ranging from refined residential spaces to large-scale commercial environments, all within a culture that values innovation, empathy, and professional growth. What You’ll Do • Lead concept development and storytelling through all project phases from design vision to completion. • Conduct programming and space planning to deliver client-approved designs that balance function, beauty, and experience. • Develop holistic interior environments, coordinating seamlessly with architectural and landscape teams. • Specify furnishings, fixtures, finishes, materials, and artwork aligned with design intent and client goals. • Oversee day-to-day coordination across clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure deadlines and quality standards are met. • Manage construction administration for interior design projects, including submittal review and value engineering. • Oversee purchasing, procurement, and installation processes. • Mentor junior designers and support their professional development. What You Bring • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field (CIDA-accredited program preferred). • 7+ years of relevant design experience. • Proficiency in 2D and 3D creative software. • Strong understanding of materials, finishes, furnishings, and specifications. • Experience managing multiple projects and leading production teams. • Excellent communication skills with clients, consultants, and stakeholders. • Experience coordinating with architects on projects of varying scale and complexity. • NCIDQ certification and/or architectural registration required.
