About this role

Role: Entry-level interior designer supporting design, documentation, and construction phases. Company: Clark Nexsen - -Multidisciplinary studio blending architecture and engineering. -Specializes in sectors including infrastructure, education, science & technology, commercial, industrial, and transportation. -Their iterative, collaborative process combines planners, architects, and engineers to craft transformative built environments. -Tackles high-profile projects such as Fitts-Woolard Hall at NC State, Madera Cyber Innovation Center, and the Normandy WWII Navy SEALs monument. What you bring: -Non-licensed entry level professional interior design staff -Prior experience in an architectural or interior design practice or related field will be given special consideration -Excellent graphic, drawing, and presentation capabilities -Entry level understanding of basic codes, sustainability requirements and their implementation -Entry level understanding of client presentation development, public speaking, and meeting documentation -Entry level understanding of building programming -0-3 years of professional experience -Commitment to sustainable design principles and interest in achieving accreditation in LEED AP, WELL AP, and/or Green Globes -Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a CIDA accredited Interior Design program -Moderate level knowledge of Revit, Enscape, Graphic software and Microsoft Office Suite -Ability and experience in producing quality construction documents, solid understanding of building detailing, construction principles and practices Tasks: -Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and participation in continuous learning -Collaborate with project teams during project design phases including programming, concept development, schematic design, design development, and construction documentation -Develop design sketches, renderings, models, graphics, presentation materials, analysis, and construction drawings and schedules -Participate in the construction administration of projects including jobsite visits, review of submittals, and responding to contractor questions -Develops design layouts and details, which require researching, compiling, and recording information for assigned project work. -Performs a variety of tasks requiring the application of standard discipline related techniques for small projects or selected segments of larger projects -Communicate and engage with a wide variety of stakeholders including clients, owners, users, team members, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies to achieve overall project objectives Visa sponsorship: -no h1b, cpt/opt/stem opt sponsorship; only candidates eligible for tn visa classification considered.
