Interiors Lead

Job Title: Interiors Lead This position is responsible for ensuring that all assigned tasks are completed accurately and on time. The Interiors Lead will be responsible for overseeing the work of technicians, providing guidance and support as needed, and ensuring compliance with all safety and environmental regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aircraft maintenance, a high school education or equivalent, and a minimum of 2 years' experience as an accomplished aircraft mechanic on heavy commercial aircraft. The candidate must also possess a FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate and have good general knowledge of flight controls, rigging, aircraft systems, landing gear, engines, and hydraulics. In addition to technical skills, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with a team and provide clear instructions and guidance to technicians. They must also be able to lift 50 lbs, wear and breathe through a full-face respirator, and be exposed to hazardous chemicals. Key Responsibilities: • Ensure that all assigned tasks are completed accurately and on time • Oversight of technicians' work, providing guidance and support as needed • Compliance with all safety and environmental regulations • Development of assigned technicians through OJT or mentoring as necessary • Work side by side with mechanics requiring training or mentoring Requirements: • High school education or equivalent • Minimum 2 years' experience as an accomplished aircraft mechanic on heavy commercial aircraft • FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate • Airframe certificate or Repairman's certificate • Good general knowledge of flight controls, rigging, aircraft systems, landing gear, engines, and hydraulics • Ability to lift 50 lbs • Ability to wear and breathe through a full-face respirator • Exposure to hazardous chemicals
