Interior Systems Design Specialist

About the Role Jobleads-US is seeking a skilled Interior Systems Design Specialist to join our team and contribute to the development of interior systems, furnishings, and user-centric design elements that align with our mission and exceed customer expectations. This role combines technical expertise with creative design skills, guiding a team while also directly contributing to high-priority design projects. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement interior systems strategies that align with our mission and exceed customer expectations. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that interior designs meet performance, safety, and quality standards within timeline and budget constraints. • Actively contribute to the design and development of interior components, including furniture, storage systems, HVAC integration, lighting, and control interfaces. • Serve as a subject matter expert on materials, manufacturing processes, and compliance standards for interior components, driving continuous improvement and identifying opportunities for innovation within the product portfolio. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Automotive Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred. • 8+ years of experience in automotive, RV, or consumer product interior design, with at least 3 years in a technical design role. • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and design analysis tools (e.g., FEA, CFD). • Strong knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and industry standards in interior design, including lightweight composites, upholstery, and modular systems. • Excellent technical and creative skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. • Experience in a fast-paced, startup environment, with a hands-on, self-starter approach to design challenges.
