Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces and a keen eye for detail. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their vision, developing design concepts, and managing projects from inception to completion. The Interior Designer will also be responsible for ensuring that all designs meet client specifications while adhering to budgetary constraints.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with clients to determine their needs and preferences for interior spaces.
• Develop comprehensive design plans that include layouts, color schemes, furniture selections, and materials.
• Utilize software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and Rhinoceros 3D to create detailed design drafts and presentations.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring timely completion within budget.
• Conduct site visits to assess project progress and make necessary adjustments.
• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other professionals involved in the project execution.
• Prepare and present design proposals to clients, incorporating feedback into final designs.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
• Assist in lighting sales by recommending appropriate fixtures and solutions based on client needs.
Skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite is essential for creating design drafts and presentations.
• Strong project management skills to oversee multiple projects effectively.
• Excellent sales skills to engage clients and promote design ideas successfully.
• Familiarity with Bluebeam for document management and collaboration is a plus.
• Knowledge of interior design principles and practices is required.
• Experience in lighting sales or related fields is advantageous.
• Ability to draft detailed plans and specifications that meet client requirements.
• Proficiency in using Rhinoceros 3D for 3D modeling is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to articulate design concepts clearly to clients and team members.
