About this role
Interior Project Managers may be responsible for projects from project inception to Construction Administration. They must have the ability to work independently and also lead a team as the project requires. They are motivated problem solvers who take pride in producing exceptional documents. They will have the support of the Studio Director to ensure PDI is meeting the goals and design intent of our Client’s needs and Project demands. Project Managers coordinate directly with all engineers and consultants to keep the project moving forward efficiently, on schedule, and meet our quality standards.
As a member of our team, you will:
Manage design and construction document developmentReview interior documentsReview and coordinate consulting engineering drawingsDevelop space plansDevelop architectural and millwork detailsLead the selection of interior finish materialsLead Client programming sessionsLead meetings with Clients and consultantsDevelop furniture plans and specificationsOversee field verificationMentor and lead staff
The following qualifications are preferred:
Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design from an accredited design schoolMinimum (7) seven years of experience in commercial interior architecture & designExtensive knowledge of AutoCAD, Excel, Word, and OutlookBasic knowledge of Revit, Photoshop, Sketch-Up, and PodiumBusiness Development experience requiredExcellent communication skillsExcellent presentation and graphic skillsExtensive knowledge of lighting, furniture, and equipment,Extensive knowledge of building systems, building codes ADAExtensive knowledge of the construction administration processExtensive knowledge of finish materials and detailingWorking knowledge of budgetary requirementsProven ability to manage projects within budgetary constraintsProposal writing
