About this role

General Summary We are a dynamic, growing, multi-specialty dealership and consulting firm looking to fill a full time Construction Technician to make a career of and long-term commitment to our DIRTT construction division. The DIRTT Technician should be able to take direction from and work with the DIRTT Leadership, actively participate as a team member, assist in management of the job site, work well with people, practice critical thinking skills and take ownership of the role. Roles & Responsibilities • Successfully install, move, reconfigure, repair, clean and troubleshoot DIRTT projects • Assist the DIRTT team in any field tasks necessary to complete our customer’s projects • Document and troubleshoot deficiencies • Communicate issues, concerns and general feedback in a professional manner both internally and externally • Support the Project Manager and DIRTT Champion • Coordinate with Project Manager, installation logistics such as where installers can unload vehicles, staging areas, installation priorities, methods, and hours of access, etc. • Keep current on construction and DIRTT technical information • Ensure proper layout for DIRTT walls is completed prior to installation of walls. Installs, provides direction and delegate to the installers. • Ensure the job site is left clean and organized. • Performs and guides others on special applications (i.e. wall mounting, leveling, structural connections, custom cuts and other field modifications) • Planning and management of product, materials and tools • Site measure as required Qualifications and Education Requirements • 3 to 5 years of construction or related experience • Must be able to travel within the territory and/or region as needed • Excellent customer service and team communications skills • Have full range of physical mobility in upper and lower body with full ability to lift, pull, and push product / equipment • Ability to read construction documents and specifications • Ability to complete job site safety programs when necessary • Strong communication skills both verbally and in writing • Keen attention to detail • Excellent time management skills centered around deliverable deadlines • Strong work ethic and leadership skills necessary Benefits • Vacation/PTO • Health Insurance • Matching SIMPLE IRA Retirement Plan • Group Dental Insurance eligibility • Cell Phone, Laptop, Car Allowance, Expense Credit Card
