Keeping Interiors is a full-service Interior Design Studio based in Santa
Barbara, CA. We are seeking a positive, professional and energetic Interior
Designer/Project Manager to join our team. Must have a minimum of 3+ years
working in a residential or architectural design firm. Our ideal candidate
will be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, have excellent time-
management skills, be extremely detail-oriented, organized, and be capable of
navigating multiple projects at once. The designer will be working with the
Principal and other team members in a collaborative environment on all phases
of interior design from conception to final installation. KI is a tight-knit
firm, so every staff member’s contribution is crucial to our success.
Candidate must be capable of both working independently and in a team setting.
Qualifications and Skills: A degree in interior design and minimum of 3+ years
experience at a design firm High proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop,
Microsoft Office and Google Suite required High level of product knowledge to
research, source and specify materials, furnishing, lighting, fabric and
finishes Create mood boards and presentation visuals with Adobe Photoshop
Thorough knowledge of developing and producing design/construction
deliverables from concept through construction detailing and
specification/schedules Basic knowledge of building codes and understand
technical aspects of construction Polished and professional interpersonal and
communication skills, both written and verbal Strong work ethic, positive can-
do attitude, good listening skills, and a sense of humor are a plus Candidate
must reside in Santa Barbara or Ventura Counties as the position is not remote
US citizen, valid drivers’ license and reliable car About Us: Keeping
