Interior Designer/Project Manager

CJG is currently looking for an Interior designer that has the following qualities: - Kind, courteous, generous - Fun, funny, full of life, and again I say KIND - Driven, self-motivated, head strong and ready to take charge... but also KIND This person will be responsible for a variety design projects. You will deal with design from conceptual development and liaising with GC's, subcontractors and vendors to managing and executing the design. Our goal is to create visually pleasing spaces that transcend time Responsibilities • Undertake design project from concept to completion • Define project requirements and schedule during the “brief” • Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans • Set costs and project fees according to budget • Research and decide on materials and products sourcing • Produce “sample” and “mood products” • Supervise work progress • Work closely with the Principal Designer Skills • Proven working experience in decorating interior spaces (consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions) • Expertise in layout, colour, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture and all installations. • Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other design programs • Hand Drafting: exceptional perspectives and elevations will most definitely win you this opportunity • Excellent portfolio of previous works • Creative talent, imagination and eye for design • Communication and presentation skills • Project management skills • 4 to 5 years experiance Job Type: Full-time Pay: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Employee discount • Health insurance • Paid time off Work Location: In person
