Interior Designer/Project Manager

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Interior Designer/Project Manager to oversee design and project management tasks from concept to completion. In this 1099 contractor role, you will be responsible for both the creative and operational aspects of our remodeling projects, working closely with clients, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will need to wear multiple hats, managing client relationships while also being involved in the design and execution of the work. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, needs, and budget for their remodeling project. Develop design concepts, space plans, and material selections that align with client goals. Create and present mood boards, 3D renderings, and project proposals for client approval when needed. Meet with customers to pick out materials such as tile, cabinets, flooring, etc to help customer feel confident with selections. Coordinate with contractors, architects, and vendors to manage timelines, budgets, and the overall project scope. Oversee all phases of project execution, ensuring that design integrity is maintained throughout. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure that construction aligns with design specifications. Resolve any project issues or delays promptly and communicate effectively with all parties involved. Source and manage materials, finishes, and furnishings. Manage project budgets, track costs, and ensure profitability. Stay updated on design trends, building codes, and industry best practices. Qualifications Proven experience (2+ years) in interior design and project management, particularly in residential and commercial remodeling. Strong design portfolio showcasing residential and commercial projects. Proficiency in design software Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and project management software. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, working well under pressure and within deadlines. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. A team player who is willing to wear multiple hats and contribute to the growth of the company.
