About Us MONO Interior Design is an emerging interior design studio founded in 2024 as a creative extension of Atlas General Construction, a well-established Bay Area construction company. Born from the need to integrate thoughtful design with exceptional build quality, MONO focuses on high-end residential and boutique commercial interiors that are modern, functional, and elevated. As we expand our vision, we're looking for a creative partner to step into a 49% partnership role — someone who can help shape the design direction of the studio and grow MONO into a distinctive, respected brand in the California design landscape. What You’ll Do • Creative Direction: Own and evolve MONO’s visual and conceptual identity • Project Management: Lead interior design projects from concept to delivery — residential, hospitality, and boutique commercial • Client Engagement: Present concepts, lead meetings, and build strong client relationships • Business Development: Help drive brand visibility, pursue new projects, and grow the company’s network • Construction Integration: Collaborate with Atlas General Construction to ensure seamless design-build delivery • Studio Leadership: Shape company culture, systems, and eventually grow a team under your leadership Who You Are • Experience in interior design, with a strong independent or freelance background • Comfortable owning projects from start to finish — design, client interaction, sourcing, and documentation • Entrepreneurial mindset — you’re ready for ownership and want to build a studio with lasting impact • Based in the Bay Area (or open to hybrid/in-person collaboration) • Fluent in design tools such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, and capable of creating client-facing presentations • Bonus: You bring a personal client base, vendor relationships, or have experience managing small design teams Why Join MONO • True Partnership: 49% partnership with profits distributed based on company earnings • Creative Freedom: Full control over the studio’s aesthetic and project direction • Solid Foundation: Backed by Atlas General Construction — bringing logistical and build-side reliability • Scalable Growth: You have the freedom to grow MONO into the type of studio you've always wanted to lead Interested?
