Interior Designer with 6-8 year design experience

Job Description Birgit Klein Interiors is looking for an experienced Interior Designer with a minimum of 6-8 year design experience in the high end residential market. This is a remote or in office position for either of our locations (Montecito and Los Angeles). Current and past project locations include several locations in the UK and Europe and more recently in San Francisco, Montecito, Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Pasadena, Miami, New York, Greenwich and The Hamptons. The ideal candidate must be able to handle and oversee projects independently and have an extensive understanding of construction projects. Coordinate and manage project communications, budget, schedule and binders Liaise with Design Director, clients, vendors, workroom and sub contractors Oversee junior staff Manage all proposals, create proposals and payments Oversee construction including preparing contractor documentations Job Requirements Degree in Interior Design and/or Architecture Extensive knowledge of design principles and construction methods Extremely organized and able to multi taks Extremely detail oriented and able to work in fast paced environment Excellent team player and communication skills
