Interior Designer Specialist

Job Overview As a Furniture Design Consultant at Havertys, you will play a crucial role in assisting Sales Consultants in closing transactions by providing exceptional design services to our customers. This involves visiting clients' homes to ensure proper furniture placement and color coordination, as well as recommending additional furniture and accessories as needed. Main Responsibilities • Assist Sales Consultants in scheduling or attending home visits to provide design services to customers. • Visit customers' homes individually or accompanied by Sales Consultants, as applicable. • Coordinate with decision-makers during home visits and final presentations to review selected items, pricing, and delivery schedules. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field, or equivalent experience. ASID certification is preferred. Additionally, you must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation for in-home appointments. You should also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in software applications such as Room Planner, Microsoft Office, and Internet software is required.
