Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and creative individual to join our team as an Interior Designer/Social Media Assistant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design and a desire to grow within the industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a designer with 2-3 years industry experience who also has a passion for social media as the role offers the opportunity to combine a passion for interior design with social media expertise. The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting our brand, engaging with our audience, and contributing to the design process. Responsibilities: • Assist owner with all phases of the design process, including conceptual development, space planning, and material selection • Create and modify interior design concepts and supporting drawings and design documents for kitchen, bath, basements and whole home remodels and additions. • Contribute to the creation of design presentations, mood boards, and 3D renderings • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and other industry professionals to manage schedules for projects • Schedule and conduct Site Inspections to record existing conditions and gather the needed dimensions, photos, and information required for effective and efficient design • Produce “as built” drawings of existing condition • Source furniture and material selections for projects • Support the team with administrative tasks such as organizing samples, maintaining a clean sample library, maintaining project files, and managing schedules • Assist with the management social media platforms, including Instagram, Pinterest, and Facebook, to showcase our design projects, behind-the-scenes glimpses, and industry trends • Engage with our online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a professional and timely manner Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field • Interior design industry experience – 2-3 years • Must have strong proficiency in AutoCAD, 3D SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite- will not be considered without these skills • Must have strong knowledge of construction drawings • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Strong attention to detail and a passion for design • Previous work experience in interior design is a plus • Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices Benefits: • Competitive salary • Benefits package provided after 6 months full time employment • Opportunities for professional growth and development in both interior design and social media • Attend Trade shows out of state To be considered for this position, you must currently be living in Nashville, TN.
