Interior Designer Sales Professional

Design Consultant Role Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated sales professional to join our team as a Design Consultant. As a key member of our design team, you will work closely with customers to understand their personal style and preferences, and help them find the perfect furniture pieces to match their vision. The ideal candidate has a demonstrated flair for design and/or fashion, and room planning skills. They must also have the desire to work in a competitive commissioned sales environment, be willing to work weekends and holidays, and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Key Responsibilities: • Meet with customers to discuss their design needs and preferences; • Conduct home consultations and provide expert advice on interior design and decoration; • Source and recommend suitable furniture and decor items from various suppliers; • Build strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and referrals; • Work closely with other team members to achieve sales targets and grow the business. Requirements: • Associate's (2-year) degree or equivalent experience in design or sales; • Demonstrated flair for design and/or fashion, and room planning skills; • Desire to work in a competitive commissioned sales environment; • Willingness to work weekends and holidays; • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
