Interior Designer (With Project Management Experience) - Dallas Office Job Description: We are currently seeking an Interior Designer/Project Manager to join our team of professionals in our Dallas office. The Interior Designer will have a diverse range of project types including Commercial Interiors, Corporate, Higher Education, Hospitality, Mixed Use, Senior Living and/or Urban Living. Responsibilities: • Responsible for successfully managing projects and project communications with team members • Build and strengthen connections with clients through a comprehensive understanding of their project mission, goals, policies, and needs • Understand building systems and construction standards • Understands applicable code and regulatory requirements for project type • Comprehensive knowledge of the design process • Participate and articulate in design exploration, innovation, and collaboration to achieve excellence in project work • Actively participate in key design presentations • Work with others through all project phases including FF&E, specifications, finish and material selections • Provide support for execution of design projects • Work with consultants, product reps and furniture dealers to meet overall project objectives • Participate in construction administration and review of submittals/samples • Support and participate in business development efforts • Mentoring while motivating project team members Qualifications: • 8-10 years of Interior Design experience • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design from a CIDA accredited University • Interior Design license or progressing toward achieving license • Proficiency in Revit, Sketch-Up, Microsoft Office, Photoshop and/or InDesign • Detail oriented with strong organization and communication skills • Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast paced fun environment • Positive attitude with high energy Job Type: Full-time Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Education: • Bachelor's (Required) Experience: • Interior design: 3 years (Required) • Project management: 1 year (Preferred) • AutoCAD: 3 years (Required) • Revit: 3 years (Required) Ability to Commute: • Dallas, TX 75240 (Preferred) Work Location: In person
