Digs Design is an award-winning interior design firm with a wide variety of projects up and down the East Coast as well as Internationally. The ideal candidate will have a passion for design and be ready to make an immediate contribution to the success of our Digs family. This role will involve collaborating with our entire team, as well as contractors, suppliers and clients. We value creativity and hard work. The Role The applicant will play a pivotal role working alongside our Principal designer as a project manager on several of our projects as well as managing their own client projects. Project manager and designer responsibilities include: Managing interior design projects from start to finish Create, oversee and manage project schedules Coordinate and oversee the activities of the design team, contractors and vendors Monitor project progress and immediately resolve issues Execute details of client presentations Manage procurement, delivery and installation with the Director of Operations Creating innovative, functional spaces and elevations in AutoCAD Communicating between all team members including clients and vendors Requirements 5+ years experience in high end residential design Skills: Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Canva. Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit and Basecamp Demonstrate ability to spearhead multiple projects simultaneously while meeting project deadlines without compromising quality Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills Independent thinker who takes initiative Superior time management and problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Hands on, team oriented, collaboration skills are a must Professional and positive working repour with high-end clients Salary commensurate with experience Full Time position includes health insurance, 401K and 3 weeks vacation In person with hybrid opportunities Ability to travel and some overnights
