Interior Designer or Design Assistant

Rineer Designs is currently hiring for an Interior Designer or Design Assistant position, starting as a part-time role with the potential to transition into full-time based on the candidate’s skills and availability. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your creativity and expertise while working alongside an award-winning designer. Plus, you’ll have the opportunity to work in our new office location, occasionally joined by two adorable Frenchies! Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with project leads to understand design requirements. • Develop innovative design concepts aligning with project goals. • Create comprehensive design plans, documents, and specifications. • Source materials and accessories to enhance the design. • Present design proposals and incorporate feedback. • Work closely with team members to execute design concepts. • Communicate effectively with vendors and manufacturers. • Manage resources, including sample pickup and office tasks. • Organize and maintain the sample library. Desired Qualifications & Skills: • Responsible, reliable, and punctual. • Clean, organized, and detail-oriented. • Self-motivated and open to feedback. • Dependable, honest, and confidential. • Proficient in Microsoft Office. • Proficient in AutoCAD (similar programs considered). • Knowledge of SketchUp, Revit, or Chief Architect is a plus.
