This role requires translating client needs into actionable design concepts, conducting insightful in-home consultations, and fortifying sales teams with design expertise. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting the La-Z-Boy In-Home Design program, presenting customized portfolio presentations tailored to the client's requirements and preferences to achieve or surpass store and individual design sales goals. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree; or equivalent experience, 2-3 years in sales or interior design, with a residential emphasis. They should be proficient in Microsoft Office 365, computer-aided design programs, financial understanding, adept interpersonal communication, analytical abilities, goal orientation, team management, and customer service. This position holds significant influence over the store's financial health, team morale and development, operational efficiency, and the overall customer experience and reputation in the community.
