This position will be in person, with AT LEAST 2-3 days/week in our office to collaborate with the design team. We need someone who is DMV based and is comfortable participating in job site visits and installations. Interior Designer Intern Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - Sourcing, organizing, and shipping approved specs and samples - Overseeing deliveries and assisting with installations - Administrative tasks (collecting/returning vendor samples, organizing sample library) - Strongly preferred to have the ability to produce floor plans, elevations, and detail drawings using AutoCAD. and update catalog library - Any and all tasks as they arise Interior Designer Intern Job Requirements: - Candidates must have a strong work ethic, be self-motivated, extremely organized, and a team player with can-do attitude. - Candidates must be working towards one and/or experience working in high-end or commercial design. - Experience in furniture, lighting, and textile sourcing - AutoCAD, Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Adobe Photoshop and InDesign proficiency required. Experience in Ivy software a plus. - A license to drive and access to a vehicle a plus - Working on site only Please include a resume and portfolio.
