Interior Designer III (Hybrid)

**Overview:** We are seeking a talented and creative Junior Interior Designer to join our team at Perkins Eastman. As a Junior Interior Designer, you will assist in conceptualizing and implementing design solutions that meet our clients' needs and preferences. You will work closely with senior designers to gather requirements, create design presentations, and execute projects from start to finish. **Responsibilities:** • Collaborate with senior designers to develop innovative design concepts based on client requirements and budget constraints. * Assist in creating design presentations, including mood boards, color schemes, material selection, and furniture layouts. * Conduct research on current design trends, materials, and finishes, and incorporate them into design proposals. * Develop detailed floor plans, elevations, and 3D renderings using design software. * Communicate and coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate execution of design projects. * Participate in site visits to assess project progress, provide design guidance, and address any issues that may arise. * Assist in overseeing the procurement and installation of furniture, accessories, and other design elements. * Maintain organized project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and correspondence • *Qualifications:** • Bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field. * Minimum of 8 to10 years of experience required. * Prior experience in an interior design role or relevant internships. * Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite. * Strong knowledge of construction documents, codes, and regulations. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with team members and clients. * Detail-oriented mindset with a high level of accuracy and precision in design work. * Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. * Knowledge of sustainable design practices is a plus. * Strong portfolio showcasing design projects and creative thinking. **Benefits:** • Robust medical, dental and vision coverage • 401k Options • PTO • Company Paid Holidays • Life Insurance • Pre-tax commuter benefits • Professional Development • Competitive salary • Hybrid Model (3 days working in the office and 2 days working remotely)
