Interior Designer I: Design Innovator

Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled Interior Designer I to join our team at Vida Design Inc. in the Denver area. This hybrid position requires working at least 2 days each week in office, with flexibility to work from home often. About Us Vida Design Inc. is a full-service boutique interior design firm headquartered in Portland, Oregon. We specialize in urban multi-family, commercial, and hospitality projects nationwide. Job Responsibilities Our ideal candidate will possess excellent design sensibility, creativity, and strong technical skills. Key responsibilities include: • Designing and producing construction documentation sets, including self-redlining; • Preparing design documentation at all phases of project; • Researching and gathering materials, keeping the team abreast of product information; • Building 3D models in SketchUp and maintaining them throughout design progression; • Collaborating with cross-functional teams on design charrettes; • Participating in Construction Administration (CA) documentation and research; • Setting up presentation materials and documents for internal and external meetings. Requirements To be considered for this role, candidates must have: • Prior experience working in multifamily or hospitality design; • A 4-year bachelor's degree program with 2+ years' experience as an Interior Designer; • Technical abilities in Revit, SketchUp, and proficiency in AutoCAD & InDesign is a plus; • Excellent communication and collaboration skills; • An appreciation for innovation and creativity.
