~~ Interior Designer / Home Stager: New and experienced positions

We are a premier bay area interior design and home staging company that services San Francisco, the peninsula, east bay, and the north bay. We’re looking for an excited and eager individual who is looking to learn and grow as a designer to join our team. Our ideal candidate will be well spoken with excellent people skills, the ability to work individually and with a team, great communication skills, and most importantly, the desire to want to learn and develop a great talent and unique skill set. We’re a good group of people who like to have fun while we work, so a great personality is definitely welcomed! We currently have two (2) positions available. 1\\. Senior Designer: Individual must have design experience and will lead a team of junior designers 2\\. Introductory Designer: Candidate should either have a degree related to the design field, or be willing to put in extra time to be taught the craft. Job Description: • Manage all aspects of the project from beginning to end. This includes communication with the client, meeting deadlines, designing the space with furniture, art, and décor, and direct your team to implement the design properly • Learn and adapt to our company’s style/brand and implement that with your own style to create a complete design that incorporates the attributes of the project property • Designer will be present at all of his/her stages and will direct the team to efficiently complete tasks • Inventory, purchase, and/or request said needed items for your projects Requirements • Excellent problem-solving ability. Must be able to solve problems on the project site and make decisions fairly quickly. • Fast learner and ability to pick up things rather quickly. Independent learner and able to initiate action to ensure project completion • Must have a valid California Driver’s License or the ability to travel to and from the warehouse and/or job site. • Somewhat flexible schedule: Although most projects are completed during the normal workday, there may be times that you will be working independently at the warehouse or at home in preparation for your project. • Very organized and able to visualize layouts and furnishing placement • Must be able to lift at least 35 pounds and be in fairly good shape. Compensation Entry level candidate will start on a pay per project rate, that will increase as your skill and number or projects completed increases. They will then move to a full time salaried position. Senior candidate will start in a probationary role and will move to a salaried position. So why Us? That’s an excellent question!
