Southern California. We focus on amenity rich neighborhoods with exciting
dining and entertainment options. Our homes and apartments utilize open floor
plans, simple color palettes, and clean lines to create a timeless living
experience. **The Designer plans, designs, develops budgets and controls costs
of residential flips throughout San Diego. This role is the creative driving
force behind each of our house flips!** Core Responsibilities: * Develop
revised floor plans and interior design * Create and manage ROI focused scope
of work * Manage and create cabinet shop drawings, lighting plans and interior
elevations * Coordinate and oversees structural design and implementation *
Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the
process. * Develop and maintain project budget * Directs all field personnel
to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality
workmanship that conforms to original plans and scope of work. * Develops and
maintains construction schedule, identifies and solves problems. * Maintains
positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other
employees. * Promotes job site safety, encourages safe work practices and
rectifies job site hazards immediately. * Ensures all company employees and
contractors are adhering to the company safety policy. * Maintains an
organized job site. * Participate in project design meetings and propose.
improvements if necessary * Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches
and develop solutions * Adhere to budget by monitoring expenses and
implementing cost-saving measures * Communicate with Project manager to
identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives * Direct
project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos,
meetings and emails. Core Competencies: * Interior design * Spatial awareness
and ability to envision new spaces, layouts to maximize the potential of a
home * Residential Construction means and methods * Organization: Utilizes
strong organizational skills. * Communication: Displays strong written and
oral communication skills and employs effective listening skills. * Problem
Solving: Analyzes problems and makes sound decisions in a timely manner based
on objectives, risks, implications and costs. * Interpersonal Skills: Tactful
and mature demeanor with well developed interpersonal skills including the
ability to work well with diverse personalities. Education and Experience: *
3-5 years of successful design experience with a production residential or
multi-family builder. * Experienced in scheduling, ordering, field
supervision, quality control, and production of all phases of residential
construction. * Experienced in managing multiple projects * Must have a Valid
