Interior Designer, degree and min 2-3 years experience req.

Small established design firm located in Old Town Scottsdale, with projects all over the valley, looking to hire full-time Interior Designer. Applicants need to have a bachelors degree in interior design, and a minimum of 2-3 years previous experience in the industry. You need to be able to work individually and within a team on fast paced interior design projects from concept through installation. Experience in the practical aspects and project management of remodeling is desired, as many of our projects are kitchen and bathroom remodels of various scale. We are looking for someone with an energetic personality, who is extremely detail-oriented and who can take directions very well, but who also is self-motivated and independent. You need to have a strong knowledge of interior finishes, materials, fixtures, furniture, and fabrics and be able to specify appropriate solutions for all the above as well as develop interior palettes. You will work in Auto CAD daily and your CAD skills should be excellent. You need to have strong organizational skills, be a people's person, and above all have an amazing sense of aesthetics. Work description: You will work individually on your own projects, and develop designs for small and large scale projects, AutoCAD for floor plans, elevations, and overall design concepts, do client presentations and follow trough with clients individually. Specify furniture, fabric, lighting, fixtures, hard surface materials, and accessories and develop design schemes in various styles. Work on pricing, budgets and quotes for client projects. Some project management; including scheduling, create timelines, communication with vendors, contractors and clients, coordinate installations. Please submit resume, portfolio, and a headshot.
