Interior Designer / Selections Manager Custom & Semi-Custom Homes A growing custom and semi-custom home builder is seeking an Interior Designer / Selections Manager to join their team. This role is perfect for a designer who loves working directly with homeowners, curating cohesive design packages, and bringing model homes to life in a collaborative, upbeat, and fast-paced environment. Position Overview This designer will serve as the primary point of contact for all interior and exterior selections, guiding clients through the design process and ensuring each home reflects both the client’s vision and the builder’s standards. Responsibilities • Lead all design and finish selections for custom and semi-custom homebuyers • Create curated design packages that align with budgets, timelines, and construction standards • Guide homeowners through selections appointments with confidence and creativity • Design and maintain model homes and sales center displays • Coordinate with construction, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure design accuracy and feasibility • Prepare detailed selections documentation for production and trade partners • Stay current on design trends, materials, and finishes relevant to residential construction • Deliver an exceptional, people-first client experience from start to finish Qualifications • Degree in Interior Design or related field preferred • 2 years of experience in residential interior design, selections, or model home design • Strong understanding of residential finishes, materials, and construction processes • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Chief Architect, or similar) a plus • Highly organized with strong communication and presentation skills • Positive, team-oriented personality with a passion for working with people What This Role Offers • Hands-on involvement in custom and semi-custom home design • Creative freedom to build beautiful, cohesive design packages and model homes • Fun, collaborative team environment that values creativity and personality • Competitive compensation and growth opportunities Apply today!
