Interior Designer, Cabinet Design and Sales

About the position The Interior Designer position at Modern Builders Supply, Inc. focuses on delivering unique design solutions for clients, managing projects from concept to completion. The role involves working closely with homeowners, contractors, and remodeling customers to create tailored cabinetry designs and interior solutions, while also maintaining strong customer relationships and providing exceptional service. Responsibilities • Qualify clients based on their wants, needs, desires, and available investment dollars. , • Discuss and identify clients' design styles. , • Create design solutions, plans, quotes, and purchase orders. , • Accurately check designs and orders. , • Discuss product details and expectations with clients. , • Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with existing and prospective customers. , • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential new products and services. , • Keep abreast of product knowledge, market conditions, and competitive activities through research and consultations. , • Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements • Minimum 3 years of experience in cabinet design. , • Minimum 5 years of customer service and sales experience. , • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. , • Strong communication skills. , • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and overall mission and vision. , • Understanding of sales, construction, and design principles. , • Familiarity with interior products and cabinetry construction. , • Experience with computer programs such as 20/20 Design, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Nice-to-haves • Experience in interior design preferred. , • Experience in sales preferred. , • Experience in customer service preferred.
