Interior Designer, Cabinet Design and Sales

About the position Responsibilities • Qualify clients based on their wants, needs, desires, and available investment dollars. • Discuss and identify clients' design styles. • Create design solutions, plans, quotes, and purchase orders. • Accurately check designs and orders. • Discuss product details and expectations with clients. • Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with existing and prospective customers. • Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential new products and services. • Keep abreast of product knowledge, market conditions, and competitive activities through research and consultations. • Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements • Minimum 3 years of experience in cabinet design. • Minimum 5 years of customer service and sales experience. • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel. • Strong communication skills. • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and overall mission and vision. • Understanding of sales, construction, and design principles. • Familiarity with interior products and cabinetry construction. • Experience with computer programs such as 20/20 Design, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Nice-to-haves • Experience in interior design preferred. • Experience in sales preferred. • Experience in customer service preferred.
