About this role

Interior Designer Twin Cities West Metro, MN | Direct Hire | $80,000 – $100,000 | On-Site Konik is partnering with a residential design-build firm seeking to add an Interior Designer to their team. Focusing on residential remodeling projects, this position offers the opportunity to work directly with homeowners, contribute to design concepts, and support projects from initial planning through construction. The ideal candidate will have some design experience with residential remodeling projects, and be interested in honing their design and client-facing skills within a team-oriented setting. Responsibilities: Support the design process from initial client consultation through construction completion Develop space planning layouts, interior architectural drawings, and design concepts for residential remodeling projects Conduct field measurements and create as-built and permit drawings Prepare scopes of work, selections, and product specifications for project execution Collaborate with project managers and leadership to ensure alignment on design intent and constructability Participate in client meetings, presenting design options and guiding finish selections Coordinate material selections and manage product ordering throughout the project lifecycle Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field 3+ years of experience in residential design (remodeling) Proficiency in design software (Chief Architect preferred or similar platforms) Strong understanding of space planning and interior architectural detailing Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in various phases Strong communication and presentation skills with a client-focused approach Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a collaborative team setting Benefits: Competitive compensation based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and holidays Stable, team-oriented work environment Be the first to learn about future positions by joining our Newsletter and following us on LinkedIn!
