Interior Designer Assistant

Norris Furniture & Interiors Job Description We are seeking a Design Assistant to support our top Interior Design Consultants at Norris Furniture & Interiors, a luxury furniture and interior design company in Naples, FL. Responsibilities: • Research and verify product pricing. • Identify and obtain fabrics and finishes. • Order sample materials from vendors. • Assist with preparing presentations. • Monitor and follow up on delivery of goods. • Confirm appointments as needed. • Follow up with purchase orders. • Liaison between the designer and operations. • Provide administrative support as requested. About You: • You are highly organized. • Possess excellent communication skills. • You are tech savvy. • Enjoy a creative, fast-paced environment. • You are reliable and can work well under pressure. • You enjoy multi-tasking and are resourceful. Requirements: • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Minimum 3 years' experience working in an administrative role. • Professional appearance and demeanor. • Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Strong time management, organizational and prioritization skills. • Computer skills and proper phone etiquette. • Ability to work in a fast paced, highly professional environment. • Ability to maintain confidentiality. • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. • Prior retail furniture and/or interior design industry experience a plus. This position is ideal for an individual who would like to enter the interior design field or who is experienced and thrives in an administrative support role. This opportunity is full time, 5 days a week. Ability to work alternating Sundays 12-5 is a plus. Opportunity for advancement for the right candidate.
