About this role

INTERIOR DESIGNER High End Design Firm is looking for a detail-oriented Interior Designer. Qualified candidates should have an understanding of the interior design process. All candidates must be an ambitious self-starter willing to take initiative in a diverse range of projects operating in a fast-paced environment... The ideal candidate for this role has over five years of experience in interior design and interior architecture, the ability to manage and deliver a project from start through to completion under the creative direction of our Principal Designer. JOB REQUIREMENTS Responsibilities Include: • Develop a creative vision for Czar Interiors projects. • Experience in designing and furnishing interior spaces on renovations and new builds on high end residential and hospitality projects. • Working with team in a lead role to assist with project scheduling and procurement programming. • Collaborate and manage drafting team to prepare and review architectural drawings, renderings, presentations and construction documents for submittal. • Display a high level of skill at sourcing and selecting furniture, materials, and fixtures that fall in line with a project budget and aesthetic. • Ability to juggle a number of different projects across phases, while keeping all projects organized, on budget and progressing. • Responsible, organized, self-motivated individuals with an entrepreneurial spirit. • Strong communication and time management skills essential. • Strong organizational and client-management skills; candidate will manage project schedules, deadlines, and deliverables with internal design team members and other project collaborators (architects, a/v consultants, millworkers, landscape designers, etc.). • Excellent communication skills, specifically when translating and implementing conceptual design feedback. • In-depth knowledge of high-end furniture and finishes and an avid appreciation for an overall global design aesthetic. • Construction knowledge requiring site visits and observations of build to meet design intent. Skill Requirements: • 5+ years of relevant interior design experience within the high-end, luxury residential space. • Advanced skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Studio Designer, InDesign, Microsoft Office, and Photoshop • Salary Dependent On Experience • NCIDQ license optimal • Hand rendering/sketching is an emphasized plus Job Type: Full-time Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • Health insurance • Paid time off Schedule: • 8 hour shift Work Location: In person
