Interior Designer

One of our key clients, an Architecture & Design firm, is currently seeking an Interior Designer for a full time role. This essential position helps this firm in its mission to design institutional projects including schools that advance student achievement, energize educators, encourage inclusion, and foster connections within a community. Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design (CIDA accredited, 4 years). • Minimum 6 years of professional design experience in commercial/institutional projects. • Interest in NCIDQ and LEED exams. Responsibilities • Provide input in project meetings for interior functionality and aesthetics. • Design layouts, finishes, casework, architectural details, lighting, and color schemes. • Specify finishes and furniture. • Coordinate furniture installation. Required Skills • Proficient in color assimilation. • Strong organization and prioritization in deadline-driven settings. • Creative troubleshooting. • Excellent communication and graphic skills. • Knowledge of ADA and codes.
