Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Interior Designer. The Interior Designer will be responsible for managing the our customer's design experience from initial client meeting through installation of project. This includes: • Partnering with sales team members to discover client needs and scope of project • Making design recommendations and furniture selections • Presentation of design solution to clients • Facilitating programming with client, including layouts, budgets, field measurements. • Guiding and training new Designers • Attending department and team meetings and trainings. • Staying up to speed on technology and furniture product Qualifications • 3-5 years experience in commercial design or the contract furniture industry • Strong AUTOCAD skills, including experience with 3D modeling • Experience specifically with space planning and space layouts • Great relationship building skills – ability to communicate clearly and effectively • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings • Demonstrated commitment to internal and external client service. • Meticulous with detail and accuracy in deliverables • Good time management skills, prioritizing and meeting deadlines • Able to adapt to change and remaining flexible • Responding in a calm and effective manner to a variety of demands, projects, and personality types
