SKD serves the Main Line, South Jersey and beautiful vacation spots located on the East Coast. Based in Wayne, Pennsylvania, our team has served 30... new build and renovation clients throughout the Main Line, Jersey Shore, Nantucket, Cape Cod, and Florida. Through our years of experience, we’ve perfected the process in creating family-centered homes. Role Description This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Interior Designer located in Wayne, PA, with flexibility for some remote work. You must live or be able to travel to Wayne, PA. We are looking for a designer who has at least 5 years' experience in new construction and large-scale renovations. The designer will work closely with the principal designer and clients to source finishes, furniture and provide unique creative ideas that are timeless and on brand with SKD. The designer will oversee projects from concept to completion and work both autonomously and alongside a team. Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design • Proven working experience as an Interior Designer, with a portfolio of successful new build, renovation and furnishing projects • Must have experience in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Chief Architect, Revit, or similar design software • Must be able to read architectural drawings • Familiarity with industry trends, materials, finishes, and construction methods • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients, contractors, and architects • Attention to detail and ability to work independently and in a team setting to meet deadlines • Ability to understand and interpret client needs and preferences, and translate them into functional and aesthetically pleasing designs • Willing to travel to clients on the main line, south jersey and the east coast
