About this role
JOB PURPOSE:
The position is responsible for assisting the client/end-user with determining, designing, and coordinating their space planning needs to achieve a professional, functional, and appealing look. The Interior Designer works with clients and end-users to ensure the space in compliant with ADA regulations and best ergonomic practices. As necessary, the Interior Designer may help... coordinate installations, conduct walk-throughs, and solve issues that arise, including missing parts, damaged product, and changes made by contractors.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide design services to dealership customers
• Perform site/inventory verifications
• Conduct space planning
• Establish typical development
• Create working/installation drawings, specifications and site-to-plan review
• Works closely with dealership customers
• Producing purchasing and installation groups to ensure accurate plans and specifications
• Adheres to conformance of client's requirements
• Provides quality customer satisfaction and project implementation
• Interactions with Sales staff on a daily basis
• Able to provide an elevated customer service experience
• Software use in AutoCAD, CET, 2020
• Knowledge of dealership vendors such as Hon and Global Furniture
• Detail oriented, can work quickly and efficiently on multiple projects at the same time
• Remote position with intermittent travel to local job sites as needed
• High level understanding of Corporate furniture dealerships required
• Cooperatively perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
Years of Experience 3-5 years
Education Completion of four year college degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and design experience

KNOWLEDGE:
• Adequate knowledge of computers, MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.
• Solid knowledge of Interior Design, specifying appropriate FF&E, creating office system layouts, taking detailed measurements to ensure accurate furniture placement, aware of current design trends
• Proficient in AutoCAD, CET, 2020
• Knowledge of dealership vendors such as Hon and Global Furniture
• A high-level understanding of Corporate furniture dealerships
