Interior Designer

The S/L/A/M Collaborative is seeking an Interior Designer with a minimum of 7+ years of experience to join our office in Atlanta, GA. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Assist in managing all phases of interiors projects, including project set-up, design, and consultant/vendor coordination Continuously collaborate with P-I-C and/or internal team membersDevelop and express concepts accurately and rapidly to meet deadlinesMaintain positive communications with colleagues, clients and consultantsAttend client meetings in-house and at client sitesContribute to the growth, development, and success of the Atlanta officePreferred Qualifications: 7+ years of experience working as an interior designerSports and/or hospitality design experience strongly preferredExperience with the architectural design process and integration of interior design, including programming, planning, research, design development, construction documents, and overall project executionWorking knowledge of FF&E, furniture systems, color and material selections, and specificationsExperience with Revit required plus knowledge of Photoshop, Enscape, InDesign, Sketch-up and/or 3-D Studio Max a plus Good interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of an effective teamSelf-starter, responsible, organized, highly motivated, and detail orientatedBachelor’s degree in Interior DesignNCIDQ Certified Interior Designer or in the pursuit thereof SLAM is an Equal Employment Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, national origin, protected veteran status, disability status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, marital status, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by law.
