Interior Designer

Studio Tatum is a full service design+build firm with a portfolio ranging from new construction designs to interior remodels and exterior living area improvements to full blown back yard makeovers. We are looking for an Interior Designer to undertake a variety of design projects. This role will assist the lead designer and will contribute to conceptual development, interact with the stakeholders and assist in managing and executing the design. Responsibilities • Lead design projects from concept to completion • Define project requirements and schedule as directed • Interpret and translate customer needs into rough plans • Gather measurements and information for costs and project fees • Research on materials and products sourcing • Create Inspiration Boards and product selection boards • Create floorplans and 3D renderings • Constant communication with design team • Work closely with Studio Tatum team members as well as contractors • Research and follow industry changes, evolutions and best practices Skills • Professional experience in designing interior spaces preferred (consultations, renovations, space planning, new constructions, etc.) • Experience in design selections preferred (layout, color, lighting, materials selection, custom furniture, etc.) • Experience in Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Suite, Houzz Pro, or other design programs • Portfolio of design experience • Creative talent, imagination and eye for design • Communication and presentation skills • Project management skills • BS degree in Interior Design Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $40,000.00 per year Benefits: • Dental insurance • Employee discount • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Paid time off Education: • Bachelor's (Required) Experience: • Interior Design: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
