This job requires 3-5 years experience. Please have experience if you apply. We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for transforming spaces and a strong understanding of design principles. This role involves collaborating with clients to create functional and aesthetically pleasing environments that reflect their vision and needs. The Interior Designer will be responsible for managing projects from concept alongside our sales team through completion alongside an on-site project manager. Be responsible to add a few cabinet lines, manage our blind line up and our flooring selections that we offer to customers. Head up any special projects delegated by the owner. Design our kitchens and choose all interior and exterior selections and colors for our in-house new construction home builds. Duties • Collaborate with clients to understand their design preferences, requirements, and budget constraints. • Develop detailed design concepts, including space planning, color schemes, and material selections. • Create drafts and presentations using software such as Revit and Adobe Creative Suite to visualize design ideas. • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring that all costs are accounted for and adhered to throughout the project lifecycle. • Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure timely execution of design plans, including renovations and installations. • Conduct lighting design assessments to enhance the functionality and ambiance of spaces. • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions to clients. • Present design proposals to clients, incorporating feedback into final designs. Experience • Proven experience in interior design or a related field is preferred. • Proficiency in design software such as Revit and Adobe Creative Suite or equivolant is essential. • Strong understanding of color theory, space planning, and lighting sales techniques. • Ability to draft contracts and manage project timelines effectively. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a keen attention to detail. • A portfolio showcasing previous work that demonstrates creativity and technical skills in interior design is required.
