Interior Designer

Location: High Point NC Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description We are seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated professional with strong design, technical, and project management skills who can independently manage projects from concept through completion. Responsibilities • Develop creative interior design concepts tailored to client needs and budgets • Prepare detailed design drawings, space plans, and construction documents using AutoCAD • Produce high-quality 3D renderings and visual presentations • Manage projects independently, including scheduling, coordination, and oversight • Work directly with clients, contractors, vendors, and consultants • Select finishes, furnishings, materials, lighting, and fixtures • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget • Conduct site visits and oversee installation and execution • Maintain knowledge of industry trends, codes, and best practices Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field • Minimum 5 years of professional interior design experience • Proficiency in AutoCAD and 3D rendering software (e.g., SketchUp, Revit, 3ds Max, or similar) • Proven ability to run projects independently from start to finish • Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills • Detail-oriented with a strong design aesthetic • Ability to collaborate while also working independently Preferred Skills • Experience with residential design • Knowledge of building codes and construction processes • Strong client presentation skills Benefits: • Competitive salary based on experience • Opportunities for professional growth • Creative and collaborative work environment • Heath Insurance • Vision and Dental • 401K • Paid Time off • Sick days • Short term disability To Apply: Please submit your resume, portfolio, and references to stephanie@stephaniejamesinteriors.com.
