Job Overview We are seeking a talented and creative Interior Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to transform spaces into functional and aesthetically pleasing environments. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their vision, managing projects from concept to completion, and ensuring that all designs adhere to budgetary constraints and timelines. Responsibilities • Collaborate with clients to determine their needs and preferences for interior spaces. • Develop design concepts using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Revit. • Create detailed drawings, specifications, and presentations using Adobe Creative Suite and Bluebeam. • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets. • Conduct site visits to assess project progress and make necessary adjustments. • Prepare contracts and negotiate terms with clients and contractors. • Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies related to interior design. • Provide guidance on lighting design, color theory, and material selection. • Oversee renovation and remodeling projects from initial planning through execution. • Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field is preferred. • Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Photoshop, 3ds Max, Rhinoceros 3D, and Bluebeam. • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. • Knowledge of drafting techniques and construction processes. • Familiarity with budgeting practices related to interior design projects. • Excellent communication skills to convey ideas clearly to clients and team members. • Experience in lighting sales or lighting design is a plus. • A strong portfolio showcasing previous interior design work is required.
