Interior Designer

Company Description Construction and Development firm Role Description This is a part-time on-site role for an Interior Designer based in Woodmere, NY. The Interior Designer will be responsible for creating and optimizing space layouts, developing interior design concepts, selecting furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E), and working on architecture and construction drawings. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with clients to ascertain their needs and preferences, designing functional and appealing spaces, and ensuring that design specifications conform to building codes and regulations. Qualifications • Space Planning and Interior Design skills • Expertise in Architecture and Construction Drawings • Experience with selecting and managing furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) • Strong visual and spatial design skills • Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, or equivalent • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines • Manage and assist in construction office day to day task
