Interior Designer

Location: Princeton, NJ, and the Tri-State Area (with opportunities for destination location projects) This is a creative role for a resourceful team player with an enthusiastic, positive approach and a strong understanding of the needs of construction, interior architecture, and design. This position is ideal for a self-starter who is eager to take on additional responsibilities. A background in architecture or construction management is preferred. This role will involve working closely with the principal to oversee and manage residential projects from concept through procurement and installation. Proficiency in SketchUp/or AutoCAD, or Chief Architect is required. JOB REQUIREMENTS: · 5 + years of professional work experience on residential projects · Highly Organized and detail-oriented · Exceptional skills in SketchUp Suite, Adobe Suite, AutoCAD, or Chief Architect · Experience with Studio Designer software is a plus · Familiarity with Canva, Photoshop, and Excel preferred · Polished client communication and management skills · Enthusiastic and Positive approach · Knowledge of quality high-end custom furniture · Bachelor’s degree in architecture or interior design preferred · Must be willing to travel to job sites with own transportation · Strong organizational and critical thinking skills with sharp attention to detail · Must be able to lift 30 pounds · Enjoy our office support dog Qualifications • Bachelor's degree, 5+years of experience in a related field, Proficient in SketchUp and Microsoft Office suite • Strong creative and communication skills • Demonstrated ability to execute About Us: Erin Forrey Design has been crafting exquisite homes for over 20 years in the tri-state area and beyond.
