Interior Designer

Location: Hybrid – Long Beach, CA | Position Type: Full-Time DyeLot is seeking an imaginative and technically skilled Interior Designer to join our studio. This role is ideal for someone with a few years of experience in hospitality or commercial interior design who is ready to bring bold ideas to life within a collaborative, high-performance team. What You’ll Do • Contribute to the creative development of projects through concept ideation, mood boards, renderings, and space planning • Select and specify finishes, furniture, lighting, and materials with awareness of client needs and project constraints • Create design documentation in Revit and SketchUp with precision and aesthetic clarity • Assist with client presentations and design storytelling • Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and contractors to maintain design intent through execution What You Bring • 2–5 years of professional experience in interior design, ideally within hospitality or commercial sectors • Strong design sensibility and a portfolio that demonstrates creative problem solving and thoughtful materiality • Intermediate proficiency in Revit and SketchUp, with the ability to work independently on standard models and detailing • Solid understanding of space planning and FF&E specification • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Ability to manage your time effectively across multiple phases of design Technical Strengths • SketchUp: Can create detailed models and apply materials/textures independently • Revit: Comfortable producing architectural documentation and using intermediate BIM workflows • FF&E: Able to independently select standard furnishings and finishes aligned with project vision and client brand • Detailing & Space Planning: Competent in producing technical drawings and layouts with design intent in mind Compensation Range $52,000 - $60,000
