Interior Designer

The RCF Group is a Best in Class furniture dealer and we are looking for Interior Designers to join our growing teamin Cleveland, OH. The successful candidate must be energetic, detail-oriented, self-motivated, curious, and possess superior communication and follow-through skills. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: • Develop floor plans utilizing commercial furniture along with writing detailed specifications and selecting finishes. • Create design presentations and communicate designs to clients both virtually and in person. • Knowledge of materials, to include but not limited to textiles, flooring, paints and wallcoverings. • Assists with Bid or Proposal Responses by assembling collateral materials. • Maintain communication throughout the design and installation process. • Ability to field measure and document job site conditions. • Participate in Live Design sessions with clients both in office and at client sites. • Working with project budget to ensure on-budget decision-making. • Must maintain professional communication skills and work ethic both internally and externally, both verbally and written. • Must maintain knowledge regarding building code, ADA compliance, space planning. • Must continue to grow in field through seminars, trainings, vendor meetings, trade shows, and other industry events. • Work within client deadlines for pricing and other tangible items. • Have the ability work both independently and within a team based environment. • The ability to travel occasionally for client-based needs. Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills): • Interior Design degree; 2 or 4 year • 2 years’ previous design experience related to the commercial interiors preferred, but not required • Proficient with: AutoCAD and/or Revit • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products • Attention to detail • Professional communication skills • Must be a team player Physical Demands/Work Environment described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
