About this role

We are looking for an artful Interior Designer with 3-5 years experience to run design projects overseen by Design Principle/Director. Located in the heart of Old Town Scottsdale, we are an award-winning growing firm looking to add talented and passionate designers to our team. The ideal candidate will have an eye for aesthetics and current design concepts along with project management skills to successfully complete the design project from conceptual development through all phases, including construction and furniture phases. Responsibilities • Undertake design project from concept to completion • Independently understand project requirements and schedule during all phases of the projects • Interpret and translate customer needs into design solutions • Project manage the project needs of specifications and drawing submittals throughout the project. • Set costs and project fees according to budget • Research and decide on materials and products sourcing • Furniture order procurement, includes quote requests, order placement, and tracking of orders. • Manage furniture order expediting reports and installation coordination • Prepare client presentations in varying methods - in-person layout and digital. • Work closely with designers, architects and contractors • Attend job site meetings • Availability for some night and weekends, driven by project deadlines Skills • Proficient in AutoCAD - (MUST HAVE SKILL) • Experience in Revit, Photoshop, Canva and other design programs • Experience in Studio Designer is a plus • Experience in 3D Rendering • Proven working experience in interior design processes - includes construction • Communication and presentation skills • Project management skills • Detail and deadline oriented • BS degree in Interior Design Salary - dependent on experience.
