We are seeking a talented Interior Designer to join our team full-time to bring creative expertise to every aspect of our projects.
Job Summary: The Interior Designer will play a key role in crafting the aesthetic and functional details of our homes. This position involves collaborating closely with our team on architectural and design features for both exterior and interior elements, as well as selecting and sourcing materials. The ideal candidate will bring a keen eye for design, proficiency in AutoCAD, and excellent project management skills to ensure all design aspects are meticulously executed.
Key Responsibilities:
• Architectural & Exterior Design:
• Contribute to the architectural look and feel, including facade, color schemes, and landscaping details.
• Provide design insights for exterior elements, enhancing curb appeal and cohesive style.
• Interior Design & Material Selection:
• Determine interior finishes, including flooring type/color, tile selections, countertops, cabinetry, hardware, and door styles.
• Select appropriate materials, colors, and textures that align with the design vision and budget.
• Source high-quality materials from reputable suppliers, ensuring durability and design standards are met.
• Design Documentation & CAD Drawings:
• Utilize AutoCAD to create detailed design elevations and layouts.
• Prepare design documentation for both client presentations and construction teams.
• Collaboration with Subcontractors:
• Work closely with subcontractors to provide clear instructions and ensure all elements align with the design plan.
• Conduct site visits to oversee the design implementation and make on-site adjustments as needed.
• Project Management & Coordination:
• Assist in project planning and budgeting for design features, managing timelines and design milestones.
• Regularly communicate with the project manager, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in residential interior design, ideally in new construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software.
• Strong project management skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with subcontractors and team members.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to translate ideas into practical, cohesive designs.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in sourcing materials and managing supplier relationships.
• Familiarity with current design trends and sustainable material options.
• Knowledge of local building codes and construction processes.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $67,467.00 - $84,095.00 per year
Schedule:
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
