Interior Designer

Job Description • Provide procurement services for multiple, complex custom projects from quote requests, to purchase orders and production follow-up, scheduling and supervising installation. • Provide design assistance to the principal and collaboration with other staff. • Keep multiple client projects, schedules, budgets and office systems accurately updated. • The ideal candidate enjoys systems, accuracy, technology, timeliness and organization. • This position is part time remote and part time in Princeton studio. Responsibilities • Responsible for procurement. • Maintain logs, records, communication documents to track the progress of each project. Work in tandem with bookkeeping department. • Assist in sourcing, selecting and specifying furniture, fabrics and carpets and fine arts. • Assist in sourcing, selecting and specifying stone, tile, plumbing, lighting and hardware. • Prepare construction document specifications for each trade, such as plumbing or electrical.
