About this role

AODK is an award-winning architecture firm in Cleveland, OH. The studio is seeking a highly energetic, self-motivated, and detailed-oriented Interior Designer/Interior Architect to join our team. We are a progressive design firm with exciting projects that include corporate, commercial, educational, restaurant, hospitality, residential and religious. We are looking for a talented designer with focus on contemporary design. Qualifications: · 5+ years of related experience as an Interior Designer/Interior Architect · Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architectural Design from an accredited program · Knowledge of the design process, including FF&E, furniture systems and specifications, color and materials · Graphic presentation skills · Flexibility to focus on a multiple projects and project types in various stages of development · Ability to efficiently communicate design ideas and direction · Strong leadership, organizational, communication and relationship management skills · Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, SketchUp preferred · Strong interior detailing and construction drawing documentation Responsibilities: · Collaborate on projects including programming client needs, conceptual design, schematic design, and design development · Participate in selection of finishes, furniture, art, and specifications · Provide project team coordination for the finish plans, specifications, and material selections required for construction · Participate in the construction administration of projects and review of submittals and finish samples · Assist in managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination · Implement all AutoCAD, Revit and rendering software standards · Contribute to office activities, initiatives, and learning programs · Manage Resource Library and manufacturer updates and appointments Salary is commensurate based on experience.
