Interior Designer

At Untethered Studio, we create unique and innovative interiors that elevate the intersection of interior design, workplace culture and brand. As an Interior Designer, you will become part of our team of blended talents between decor, art, interior design and fabrication. We exist to create inspiring spaces and engaging experiences. Role Description This is a full-time contract to hire position. As Interior Designer, you will be responsible for creating envelope-pushing designs, creating construction drawings, and executing interior design concepts. Your work will create intimate spaces and interactive experiences. As a member of our creative core, you will have opportunities to collaborate with our Stylists, Art Curator and Creative Director, as well as industry-leading design thinkers. This is a hybrid role, with occasional visits to Studio locations and client sites; travel is infrequent, but needed as clients/jobs require. Qualifications • Proficient in space planning, architecture, and interior design, ideally in commercial and/or workplace sectors • Experience creating accurate and detailed Construction Drawing sets, 2D & 3D renderings and other related visualization tools • Knowledge of, and experience in, FF&E • Experience with interior graphics and experiential design a plus • Industrial and/or product design experience is a plus • Understanding of color theory and its application in design • Strong creative and conceptual thinking abilities • Excellent communication and collaboration skills • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines • Knowledge of sustainable design practices is a plus • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity and design expertise while working on diverse projects.
