Ethan Allen of WNY is a private locally owned and operated interior design studio featuring quality Ethan Allen home furnishings. Since 1979 our design team has been helping our clients create beautiful , comfortable and functional living spaces for their families. • We have now transitioned from a quality furniture store to an Interior Design Studio and are searching for design focused associates with sales and business skills. • Because our non commission environment, our team members work with each other and are rewarded with a generous monthly bonus plan based on team success. • We provide a full range of products and services for our clients. The Design Studio at Ethan Allen of Western New York is committed to quality, value and most importantly our clients and associates About our Design Team: Our Design Team is comprised of talented associates that bring varied focus and skills to assist each client achieve their home furnishings goal. Successful associates come from various backgrounds and posses the following skills and backgrounds: • interior design experience • professional sales and business experience • Consumer related experience such as real estate, high end consumer retail stores, the cosmetics industry, furniture and interior design companies • Many are career change applicants. As aan Interior Designer, you: · create and sell customized solutions for your clients · challenge your thinking and creativity · establish customer relationships from ideas to the final sale · have access to state of the art technology with 3D room planner and augmented reality · work with great products that allow your visions to come to life What we offer: · starting salary compensation package including salary and bonuses up to $55,000 first year . we are non commissioned offering a true collaborative team environment · compensation plan offering a full benefit package including paid vacations and holidays, health coverage and a 401K plan with employer contributions · employee product discounts · a business personal computer · in person and online training Position Requirements: · excellent communication and interpersonal skills · demonstrated success in previous employment . interior design experience · 3-5 years of business / sales experience · a design degree or degree in a related field preferred but not required A Final Thought: A position in our company is more than just a job.
